Personal Requirements:

In order to obtain their license/RFW voucher to hunt legally on the LK Ranch, all hunters must first provide:
-Current Hunter Safety card. (Out of state cards are transferable to Colorado.)
-Current Drivers License.
-DO NOT PURCHASE LICENSES ONLINE PRIOR TO ARRIVAL! LICENSES WILL BE PURCHASED UPON ARRIVAL WITH THE RFW VOUCHER PROVIDED BY THE RANCH.

Hunters are also required to wear 500 inches of blaze orange. (vest & cap)

Hunting Packages:

-All hunts include guides, lodging, and meals. Gratuity for guides and cook, are encouraged.
-Harvested animals will be field dressed by guides and transported to a local packing house at no additional cost.
-All meat packing and shipping expenses belong solely to hunter.

Transportation

-Transportation to and from the airport is not provided.

Location: LK Ranch is located approximately 8 miles south of Meeker on County Road 13.

Terrain and Access: Elevations vary from approximately 6,400 ft. to 8,200 ft. The LK Ranch lays on the west side of the Grand Hogback and rises gradually toward the south and east with Flag Creek being the major drainage. Most of the ranch is comprised of rolling hills of sagebrush and mountain shrub plant communities interspersed with scattered stands of aspen and coniferous forest at the higher elevations. Much of the ranch is deer and elk winter range or seasonal transition range.
