General Location/Directions
The LK Ranch lies approximately 8 miles southeast of Meeker, CO, in Rio Blanco County, unit 23.The property lies between White River National Forest to the south and Oak Ridge SWA to the northeast, both of which are incredibly high-quality wildlife habitats.
On a regional scale, the LK Ranch RFW property includes a substantial portion of the private land between the White River National Forest boundary and the Grand Hogback along Highway 13 to the west.
Written Directions
The LK Ranch Lodge and Check-in Point is located at 7503 Rio Blanco County Road 13, Meeker, CO 81641. To reach the LK Ranch, travel to Meeker, Colorado via Colorado Highway 13. After reaching the town of Meeker, travel to 10th street and head south across the White River. After crossing the bridge on the White River, immediately turn right (west) at the fork onto Rio Blanco County Road 13. Travel south approximately 7.5 miles on Rio Blanco County Road 13 to the LK Ranch Lodge/Check-in point. Hunters will be provided with large scale and detailed color maps at the time of check-in (at no cost to the hunter) which have the most updated and specific information about the LK Ranch property boundaries and hunting locations/units, access, roads and travel restrictions, access restriction areas, closed areas, check-in/out points, parking areas, etc. More general maps of the LK Ranch will also be sent out to the hunters in the RFW packets prior to arrival as well.LK Ranch staff will do their best to help hunters to read the maps and become familiar with the layout and boundaries of this large property during the hunter orientation and check-in process. In addition, special efforts will be made by LK Ranch staff to install signed markers at key ranch locations which are either numbered/named to correspond with the map(s) such that it is easier for hunters to determine exactly where they are at while hunting the LK Ranch. In addition, property boundaries that are difficult to discern in certain areas of the LK Ranch will be identified during the orientation and will be marked/posted clearly in the field as well.
