Conservation Easements

The majority of the LK ranch property is currently protected via perpetual conservation easements that the Klinglesmith family has negotiated in multiple parcels with a variety of entities including the CDOW, GOCO, and the Yampa Valley Land Trust. These conservation easements have served to protect a significant portion of critical wildlife habitat in NW Colorado.
